RESEARCH PROFILE: Business Analyst

YOUR MISSIONS :
- Specify changes to political rights IS applications, according to a methodology defined in use cases and requirements within the framework of major overhaul projects,
- Initiate, manage and coordinate the validation of applications within the framework of operations, and provide functional and business support during the preparation of operations, right up to the closing of the operation, in accordance with quality procedures,
- Accompany developments, providing functional and business support to an agile development team, and interacting with stakeholders to take account of technical or organizational requirements and constraints,
- Plan, write and run acceptance tests to validate applications, in line with business needs,
- Identify and communicate the risks of a project or operation, and unite the people involved in the search for solutions,
- Manage incidents: coordinate their resolution, coordinate the setting up of test environments, carry out tests and coordinate the customer on the application acceptance phase,
- Capitalize on the experience acquired at the end of each project or operation.

TRAININGS :
- HES diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or EPF engineering diploma or federal diploma or equivalent.
SKILLS :
Core competencies
- Eliciting needs and prioritizing customer expectations,
- Specification of business and system requirements in the form of use cases and user stories (functional specification),
- Development and implementation of test strategies, creation of test plans, coordination and execution of tests,
- Use of a backlog management tool (e.g. JIRA).
Additional skills
- Knowledge of object modeling using UML notation,
- Knowledge of business process modeling using BPMN notation,
- Facilitating collaborative workshops using collective intelligence techniques,
- Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team and in a Product Owner role (depending on SAFe or SCRUM),
- Certification in agility, business analysis or testing preferred (e.g. PSPO, CBAP, ISTQB).
- Product Owner certification from a recognized organization,
- UX/UI design experience (Design Thinking, user research, wireframing),
- Ability to communicate and report to senior levels of the organization,
- Ability to integrate and work as part of a team, to collaborate and federate multidisciplinary teams in a matrix-type environment,
- Ability to communicate with customers, in particular to maintain a climate of trust, listen to their needs and respond to them in the best possible way, adapting the way you speak to the person in question,
- Ability to assess the criticality of a situation and make decisions accordingly or refer to the project manager,
- Minimum safety skills (at least an understanding of what’s at stake),
- Knowledge of HERMES methodology,
- Public administration experience
