SEARCH PROFILE: Senior Business Analyst – Process Management Expert

YOUR MISSIONS :

  • Elicit business needs to extract functional and non-functional requirements
  • Analyze gaps between the desired solution (‘to be’) and the functional scope of the existing solution (‘as-is’)
  • Analyze and model business activities, processes and organizations
  • Write functional specifications based on use cases and entity models, covering functional and non-functional requirements,
  • Describe functionalities in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize them in a backlog,
  • Leading, federating and convincing to improve processes

QUALIFICATIONS :

TRAININGS :

  • HES diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or EPF engineering diploma or federal diploma.
  • Minimum ITIL – Foundation training, certification a plus
  • BPMN certification
  • Business Analysis certification desired (e.g. PSPO, CBAP)

SKILLS :

Core competencies

  • Mastery of Business Analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in BPMN modeling language and modeling tools
  • Experience in quality system process modeling
  • Significant hands-on experience in process management and improvement
  • Experience in communication and process coaching
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Ability to lead workshops with different stakeholders using agile and collective intelligence techniques
  • Ability to specify business and system requirements in the form of use cases and user stories
  • Ability to write test plans and supervise user testing and acceptance campaigns

Additional skills

  • Knowledge of Lean concepts for assessing the situation of a production process and proposing avenues for improvement.
  • Ability to propose organizational improvements
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and in particular to maintain a climate of trust, listen to their needs and respond to them in the best possible way, adapting one’s discourse according to the interlocutor.
  • Ability to integrate and work as part of a team, to collaborate and federate multidisciplinary teams in a matrix-type environment
  • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO) and related methodologies (CoBIT, Lean, etc.)
