WANTED PROFILE: Expert database optimization engineer
- Type of contract: open-ended LSE service contract
- Duration: indefinite but not exceeding 5 years
- Occupancy rate: 100%.
- Desired start date: September 1, 2023
YOUR MISSIONS :
The engineer will be responsible for :
- Manage database performance and optimize resource use (tuning)
- Define the technical architecture of databases, data exchanges and data warehouses
- Design and implement database environments and ensure their maintenance, availability and changes
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Strong technical autonomy
- Ability to solve technical problems and make proposals
- Rigorous execution and delivery
- Organization
- Ability to share knowledge / join our BDD team
TRAINING :
HES diploma, Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent diploma
SKILLS :
Compulsory skills
- Master Oracle optimization tools: Statspack, traces (tkprof), query execution plans, hints
- SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills
- Demonstrate method and rigor in database administration
Important skills
- Master the technology and administration of Oracle databases from version 12 upwards
- Master scripting for Windows and Unix environments
- Master the technology and administration of PostgreSQL databases from version 12 upwards
- Good experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical models, data flow diagrams and implementation tools)
