PROFILE WANTED: DevOps Engineer (M/F)

YOUR MISSIONS :
The DevOps engineer will work in a department responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of IT applications. The technical environment consists of in-house Web applications, written in the Perl language using the Mojolicious and Catalyst frameworks, with extensive use of dynamic HTML (ajax, vue.js). Databases are Oracle and PostgreSql. The team is also responsible for the technical maintenance of Drupal Intranet and Internet sites.
He/she will be responsible for :
- Operate and upgrade Linux servers (Red Hat VM), demonitoring system (CheckMK), application deployment system (GitLab CI, Ansible,Rundeck).
- Application operation, Apache Web server configuration, startup scripts, Perl language and associated libraries.
- Participate with the architects in the implementation of an automated testing and continuous integration solution, log centralization and reverse proxy.
- Coordinate the various development projects with the cantonal office for information systems and digital technology.
- Carry out application developments, in support of developers, depending on the Ops workload.
- Analyze and remedy production incidents.
- Write and maintain technical reference documentation concerning operations.
TRAININGS :
- University degree or higher professional diploma in information systems.
SKILLS :
- At least 5 years’ experience in the field.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux server administration, bash programming, Apache configuration.
- Proven experience in implementing automated testing and continuous integration solutions.
- Good knowledge of at least one dynamically typed language: perl (modern), PHP, Python, Javascript.
- Good knowledge of Ansible and GitLab solutions.
- Good knowledge of DBMS and SQL language.
SKILLS ARE AN ADDITIONAL ASSET:
- Knowledge of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSql, MySQL, ElasticSearch databases.
- Experience in deploying perl applications (cpan, perlbrew, carton).
- Experience of Websocket, microservices and message broker techniques.
- Experience with containerization technologies (docker, OpenShift).
- Drafting of operating documents.
LANGUAGES :
- Excellent command of the French language
