RESEARCH PROFILE: Business analyst
- Occupancy rate: 80-100%.
- Duration: indefinite, but maximum 3 years
- Desired start date: April 1, 2024
YOUR MISSIONS :
- Analyze and model business activities in BPMN, model business entities and their relationships in UML,
- Elicit business needs, extracting functional and non-functional requirements,
- Write functional specifications based on use cases and entity models, covering functional and non-functional requirements,
- Describe functionalities in the form of User Stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritize them in a Backlog,
- Facilitate workshops with various stakeholders using agile and collective intelligence techniques,
- Analyze in detail the data sources required for the project and classify the data into referential and operational data,
- Accompany developments, providing functional and business support to an agile development team, and interacting with stakeholders to take account of technical or organizational requirements and constraints,
- Design and execute tests using appropriate test tools and techniques, in compliance with agreed standards.

TRAININGS :
- HES diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or EPF engineering diploma or federal diploma or equivalent,
- Certification in agility, business analysis or testing preferred (e.g. PSPO, CBAP, ISTQB).
SKILLS :
Core competencies
- Eliciting needs and prioritizing customer expectations,
- Specification of business and system requirements in the form of use cases and user stories (functional specification),
- Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team (according to SAFe or SCRUM),
- Knowledge of object modeling using UML notation,
- Knowledge of business process modeling using BPMN notation,
- Knowledge of BABOK, IIBA certification or equivalent appreciated
- Facilitating collaborative workshops using collective intelligence techniques,
- Use of a backlog management tool (e.g. JIRA),
- Development and implementation of test strategies.
Additional skills
- UX/UI design experience (Design Thinking, user research, wireframing),
- Ability to communicate and report to senior levels of the organization,
- Ability to integrate and work as part of a team, to collaborate and federate multidisciplinary teams in a matrix-type environment,
- Ability to communicate with customers, in particular to maintain a climate of trust, listen to their needs and respond to them in the best possible way, adapting the way you speak to the person in question,
- Ability to assess the criticality of a situation and make decisions accordingly or refer to the project manager,
- Minimum competence in security (at least understanding the issues) and data protection,
- Experience in the role of product owner (certification a plus),
- Knowledge of HERMES methodology,
- Experience in public administration.
