PROFILE WANTED: Product Owner (M/F)

Location: Geneva / Lausanne

Type of contract: CDI

Occupancy rate: 80 – 100%.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Product Owner, you will work in a 100% AGILE environment and play a central role in the product’s renovation and target vision.

YOUR MISSIONS :

• You work hand-in-hand with the business owner, program manager and program governance body to define your product’s vision and propose a coherent, ambitious operational roadmap.

• With the support of your Business Owner, you translate the business themes (Epics) into operational features that can be implemented in development cycles of around 3 months. You bring all your experience and know-how to maximize the business value of the functions delivered to the business. You’re familiar with the concepts of MVP, WSJF, product refinement and story mapping.

• You prioritize your product backlog and define ambitious yet realistic sprint goals. You ensure that your product backlog is transparent, clear and consistent with your team and all program stakeholders. You organize the sprint planning ceremony.

• Surrounded by a scrum master and an experienced team of around eight developers, business analysts and business representatives, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the product in production and providing stakeholders with sufficient evidence for ISAE certification.

• You participate in the appropriation of your product by the impacted populations and support the testing, communication, training and documentation efforts within the framework of your product releases.

• In collaboration with your scrum master, you maintain a benevolent, dynamic, customer-focused and business value-oriented working environment. You support the Scrum team in the choice of new technologies and participate actively in the refinement and retro ceremonies.

• In collaboration with Product Owners from other areas, you continuously develop your role. You are also actively involved in inter-product synchronization rituals.

• Knowledge of employee benefits (and/or insurance, absence management) a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Experience in a similar position within a Scrum-based team (3-5 years)
• Experience in designing web software in SaaS mode (and/or web portal)
• Experience in insurance/HR services would be a plus
• Solid UX certification/experience would be a big plus

TRAININGS :

• Federal diploma or equivalent in the field or IT
• 2-3 years’ experience with the product
• Experience in project management

SKILLS :

• Functional leadership
• Technical understanding of the product / domain expertise (understanding of requirements)
• Agile product development methodology (Lean / Kanban / Scrum)
• Agile mindset

LANGUAGES :

• Minimum 2 languages, including one national language
