SPECIFICATIONS: Senior Cassandra engineer
- Occupancy rate: 100%.
- Duration: indefinite, but maximum 3 years
- Desired start date: April 1ᵉʳ, 2024
YOUR MISSIONS :
- Administer Apache Cassandra within the scope of the electronic document archiving system.
- Ensure application stability and data continuity.
- Carry out the necessary actions for version upgrades in development, acceptance testing and production, with the aim of achieving optimum operability and the expected level of service.
- Participate in defining the technical architecture.
- Install, configure and parameterize in different environments.
- Draft/complete documentation and submit for validation.
- Perform regular data restoration tests.
- Take part in administrative tasks through on-call and stand-by duty upon request.
- Participate in data content versioning (validation and deployment).
- Participate in the definition and drafting of production, administration and operating procedures.
- Ensure the transfer of knowledge to colleagues in the sector and other company entities.
- Be a driving force behind software development.
- Participate in the detailed design phases with the SIC architect, in order to give technical advice on feasibility and propose alternative solutions.
- Propose, plan and monitor continuous improvement and stabilization projects for the collaborative document platform.
- Guarantee the sector’s expertise in the design phases for other company entities during the project phases, so that they take into account the needs and constraints of the electronic document archiving system.

TRAININGS :
- HES/HEU Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
SKILLS :
Core competencies
- Expertise in the administration of Apache Cassandra in a multi-datacenter production environment handling large volumes (several tens of TB) and high availability.
- Knowledge of Linux servers, their configuration and administration.
- Java skills (debugging, JVM configuration, etc.).
Additional skills
- Knowledge of electronic document management (metadata, content types, etc.).
- Tomcat experience, configuration and deployment.
- Significant experience in permissions management and authentication/identity federation mechanisms (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID connect).
- Deployment experience with Ansible.
- Ability to listen and enjoy teamwork.
- Defending technical choices.
- Experience with Datacontent.
- Experience with Spark, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana, AWX.
- Level 3 support experience.
- Project methodologies such as Hermes (or equivalent), agile and/or hybrid.
- Document and regulatory governance (ISO15489-115, LIPAD and LArch).
